I come back, and there are twelve names on the list for kids who should be in detention. She didn\u2019t even write down names of kids who were good \u2013\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMrs. Vickory, it really was all their fault. I told them to stop, but no one would listen to me,\u201d interrupted Penny Murphy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYeah. Whatever, Penny. You know you were in on it too. Stop pretending to be Miss Goody-goody-two-shoes!\u201d Timothy Rowens yelled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2 <\/em><\/strong>\u201cYou are a liar, Timothy Rowens! I had nothing to do with it!\u201d Penny screamed. The whole class started talking all at once. Mrs. Vickory had to blow her whistle to get everyone\u2019s attention again. Her face was bright, red now. The class quieted. We had never seen her this mad before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThis is exactly what I mean! From here on, no one will leave this room until I get a straight answer. Don\u2019t even think about going to use the restroom. If I don\u2019t hear anything from anyone by the time lunch comes, you will all be eating your lunches in here . . .\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My mind tuned her out. I didn\u2019t know what I was going to do as I really needed to use the bathroom.
